Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Manager of Leasing and Accommidations, the Accommodations Officer is responsible for performing complex and technical administrative work related to aspects of the daily operation of the Leasing and Accommodations Division, Infrastructure Support. Specifically, the incumbent is assigned responsibilities related to the ongoing maintenance and operations of the organizations comprehensive leasing program for its 21 sites within the NLHS Eastern Rural Zone.
The complex nature of the work requires the incumbent to exercise initiative and independent judgement related to the OH&S ACT, Public Tender Act, policies and procedures and other government regulations and legislations.
The incumbent functions with a high degree of independence. This includes working in collaboration with the Regional Manager of Leasing and Accommidations in the provisions of overall leadership and staff supervision on a daily basis.

Regularly requires physical effort using tools that require accurate control and steadiness; maintaining physical balance, standing, walking, climbing, using gross and fine motor skills, and working in awkward or cramped positions requiring strength and/or endurance.
Work is impacted by time pressures/deadlines, interruptions and lack of control over work pace as priorities change, services being interrupted, etc.
Job Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
A formal real estate designation such as REAL Property Administrator (RPA) OR Certified Property Manager (CPM) OR enrolment in or completion of the Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) or Facilities Management Certificate (FMC) in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA)
Experience in the carpentry trade is essential.
Demonstrated administrative abilities of a responsible nature is required.
A valid Driver's License and use of a personal vehicle is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
