Softball Nova Scotia Summer Intern

The successful candidate will assist with administrative office duties, the organization, delivery and execution of Provincial Championships and in-season programming. The Summer Intern will meet and interact with many people including association members, member clubs,

Travel distances between championships and initiatives will vary depending on the season's schedule. must be willing to work in a team atmosphere and learn how to effectively solve problems and difficult situations.

SKILLS, ASSETS & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of the sport of Softball
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle, as some travel in the province will be required.
  • Willingness to work flexible work hours if required.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with staff, volunteers, stakeholders, and the public in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • This position will report to the Executive Director. The ideal candidate will have a background in Softball.
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment.
  • Highly motivated individual with resiliency under pressure.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to self-start and take an active leadership role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite an asset.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms an asset.
  • Must be able to work at the Softball NS office as required.
  • Annual salary will be communicated at the offer
