The Headline:
In the role of Assistant Marketing Manager, you'll help build one of the most iconic brands in Newfoundland and Labrador and help shape our future as we expand further in Eastern Canada.
In this specific role, you will be an Assistant Marketing Manager and will be responsible for executing key programs that help connect more travelers to their end destinations, more communities to travel hubs, more families together and so much more.
The Responsibilities:
- Marketing Communications & Creativity
- Responsible for developing and executing through-the-line marketing programs and advertising campaigns
- Manage the creative development process with internal stakeholders and team members.
- Manage PAL Airlines social channels.
- Collaborate with marketing cross-functionals - including Human Resources, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Revenue Management, Charters - to craft effective campaigns and analyze performance.
- Brand Strategy & Consumer Understanding
- Assist in the development of marketing plans, including annual planning.
- Business Management & Commercial Fluency
- Assist with marketing team budget management, including PO and invoice processing.
- Collaborate with Sales, Human Resources, and other internal stakeholders to market PAL Airlines services, careers, and offerings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who We're Looking For:
- A creative problem-solver with exceptional project management abilities, initiative to balance multiple projects simultaneously, and empathy to successfully collaborate with others.
- A strong strategic thinker who understands both the big picture and how to execute marketing tactics.
- A natural communicator. Someone who can write, speak, and lead clearly and persuasively.
- An intellectually curious and creative thinker who has a passion for brand building.
- Demonstrated experience in relevant field, including marketing, advertising, etc.
- Experience in the aviation industry is an asset, but not required.
- 0 - 2+ years of marketing experience is preferred.
