Accounting Clerk:
Halifax, NS
Advantage Personnel is looking for an Accounting Clerk in Halifax. This is a full-time opportunity. The duties for this position include but are not limited to, preparing ledgers & invoices, maintaining reports & journal entries.
Available shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Pay of rate: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Prepare general ledger
• Prepare invoices for various clients
• Prepare and maintain reports and journal entries
• Store, update and retrieve financial data
• Ensure procedures and reporting follow generally accepted accounting principles
• Experience with Simply Accounting
Candidate Qualifications:
• This role requires the submission of a Criminal Record Search
• Efficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Completion of Accounting Program
• 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
