Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for a General Labourer - Forklift Operator role on behalf of our client in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Available Shift: Monday to Friday- Day shifts
Rate of Pay: $18.00 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Perform visual inspections of the forklift and complete pre-shift checks to ensure its proper functioning.
• Assist in receiving and storing incoming materials and supplies.
• Prepare orders for shipment by picking and packing products.
• Support the production team by performing various labour tasks such as stacking, sorting, and organizing materials.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing assigned tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties as needed.
