We provide a variety of services, predominately for seniors and other folks that need a little extra help in day to day living. Job Summary: To assist residents with daily routines and activities of daily living, including recreational support. The role does not include the provision of personal care to the residents.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Education
• Preference for experience or education in recreation or healthcare
• Previous experience in a long-term care facility, senior home, or group home will be considered an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work shift work
• Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Must have sound interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Compassion, integrity, maturity, respect and a positive attitude are essential attributes.

Salary Range: In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View and the Ocean View Local CUPE

Rotation: Days/Evenings/Nights/Weekends.
