We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated and highly motivated Warehouse Staff, working out of our HRM branches.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience with warehouse duties. They should have a current forklift-operating license, knowledge about inventory control, WHMIS, and Dangerous Goods. OHS and First Aid Courses would be an asset. Industry experience is also an asset and the candidate must be willing to participate in continuous technical and professional training. Candidates must have a valid provincial driver license, minimum grade 12 education, knowledge of computer systems (ideally warehouse management systems) and the ability to perform moderate heavy lifting, as you will be required to be physically active throughout each shift. Although the position will be primarily located in Kerr's Dartmouth location, candidates must also be willing to work in the Halifax location periodically.
Warehouse staff are responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of goods to our customers, detailed completion of paperwork, safe and efficient work practices and particular attention to detail. The candidate will be responsible for providing support to our customers, inside and outside sales team, and team members to help achieve branch performance goals.
