We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).
In this role, you will be responsible for the leading, engineering & developing quality software components and applications for brokerage products. You will also apply and adopt variety of cloud-native technologies for the products. In addition to analizing software, you will have an opportunity to help define and implement development practices, standards and strategies.
The Systems Analyst participates in all phases ofsoftware development. The Systems Analyst needs to have a strong understanding of the software
Requirements
- 5+ years systems analysis experience required.
- 5+ years experience working within an Agile software development framework.
- 5+ years experience with SQL / Experience with database query tools
- 5+ years experience working with RESTful APIs, Cloud service such as AWS is a plus.
- Demonstrate organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet objectives.
- Are an entrepreneurial problem solver comfortable accepting, proposing and leading change.
- Ability to gather business requirements and form well defined story acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Technical writing and documentation.
- Enthusiastic to collaborate with Engineers to research and document.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
