Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Release Planning Lead. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; or Calgary, AB

Here's where you'll be focusing:

As a Process Architect Lead with Sobeys, you will:

  • Build business alignment and a trusted relationship with business partners
  • Collaborate with cross functional process and continuous improvement teams to foster alignment and identify new requirements
  • Keep up to date on industry standards and best practices for process documentation, process analysis and continuous improvement
  • Develop standards for process documentation and analysis
  • Ensure the administration of process documentation tool including user management • Consult with business to identify and improve process documentations standards
  • Define, communicate and control Process Lifecycle Governance for process models and documentation
  • Lead business process elicitation workshops and document business process
  • Lead development of BPM training material
  • Develop BPM practice through delivering training, coaching, mentoring to business resources Provide knowledge transfer on techniques, tools, process analysis and design methods.

What you have to offer:

What your resume will include and demonstrate to us:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Master's degree in computer science or Business and a minimum of 4 - 6 years experience in IT projects and processes.
  • Experience defining and understanding business processes using various tools and techniques (e.g. ARIS, SAP Signavio, Casewise, MEGA, Adonis, BIC).
  • Experience in conducting IT process analysis, documenting "As Is" and "To Be" processes while applying best practices around process management.
  • Process modeling skills, ideally EPC and/or BPMN preferred.
  • Ability to apply technology and architecture principles to business strategies.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate technical issues to help others make sound decisions.
  • Experience in developing and deploying standard enterprise-wide process methodologies.
  • Strong ability to build trusted cross-functional relationships.
  • Nice to have certifications - OMG OCEB, Lean Six Sigma, ABPMP - CBPA/CBPP.
