Now, during an exciting time of growth and transformation for the organization, we are searching for a Digital Transformation Lead to join our Performance and Insights team. The role can be based in their Saint John, NB or Dartmouth, NS office location and offers a hybrid work environment.

The Digital Transformation Lead will apply their expertise in looking at technology solutions to address challenging opportunities within the organization to align with business objectives and industry best practices. This role requires a combination of strategic vision, project management expertise, and broad understanding of technologies and business processes. The Digital Transformation Lead collaborates closely with senior leadership, IT team, and key stakeholders to drive change, implement new technologies, and optimize operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing processes, workflows, and procedures to identify inefficiencies and areas for advancement that could be resolved with technology solutions.
  • Design and implement streamlined processes and best practices to enhance productivity, agility, and service delivery.
  • Collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders and other developers to understand the requirements and specifications of the solutions. They will be responsible for designing solutions from both a functional requirement and technical specifications.
  • Prototyping and testing the solutions using various methods and tools to ensure they meet the quality standards and expectations of the organization.
  • Documenting and presenting the solutions and their features and benefits to the relevant audiences.
  • Lead enhancement efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and/or applications.
  • Establish and manage vendor relationships and partnerships to ensure successful implementation and delivery of enhanced technology solutions.
  • Develop performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
  • Regularly assess and report on the performance of systems, processes, and services, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of processes, technologies, and best practices.
  • Project management, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions that are secure, reliable, scalable, and performant.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, C#, .NET, etc.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft technologies such as .NET, Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, etc.
  • Ability to develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain applications using Microsoft tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft best practices, standards, and guidelines for software development and technical solutions
  • Interest and willingness to learn new Microsoft technologies and update skills as needed.
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices such as agile, DevOps, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to design solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization and to communicate complex ideas in relatable terms.
  • Experience in using various tools and technologies such as cloud services, databases, APIs, etc.
