- Safety Leadership: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring safety protocols. Collaborate with the Safety Manager and external consultants to address hazards and conduct worker orientations.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed schedules for assigned homes, updating them weekly to facilitate team coordination and production meetings.
- Construction Delivery: Meet construction completion deadlines to ensure timely delivery of homes, aligning with customer expectations and quality standards.
- Execution Excellence: Strive for minimal deficiencies at home turnover, following Cresco's high standards and prescribed by Atlantic New Home Warranty. Conduct regular inspections and prepare punch lists. Address deficiencies and seasonal items in a timely fashion.
- Own Your Homes by Walking Your Homes: Daily walks of homes to oversee progress, assist trades, and prepare checklists. Ensure milestone checklists are completed and uploaded for production meetings.
- Work & Invoice Approval: Review and approve invoices only for completed work meeting Cresco standards and scopes of work.
- Communication: Document and communicate any issues impacting project milestones promptly. Actively participate in production meetings and collaborate with the Construction Manager to resolve challenges.
- Demonstrated the ability of managing safe jobsites, implementing safe work practices and delivery of homes in a production setting to high standards.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent inter-personal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A strong understanding of building science and construction best practices.
- Proven history of leading by example enabling a positive and healthy work environment.
- Must be able to interpret architectural/structural drawings.
- A valid driver's license.
