Registered Nurse IC - Intensive Care Unit
New Acute Care Facility, Corner Brook, NL
A new Acute Care Facility is currently being built in the Corner Brook area and Western Zone is currently recruiting for additional staff to support its operations across a variety of disciplines and departments. We are currently recruiting for Registered Nurse ICs. Although we anticipate many positions will require start dates prior to the opening of the new facility, start dates will be determined based on department planning as well as construction progress of the building.
Required Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador is required. Completion, or a willingness to complete the next Combined Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department Education Program offered through NLHS Western Zone, or equivalent, is required. Successful completion of a challenge exam will be required for those applicants who have completed an education program outside of NLHS Western Zone. A willingness to complete and maintain active certification in ACLS, TNCC and PALS within two years of appointment is also required. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is a requirement for this position.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
0800-2000, 2000-0800 Hours; Monday to Sunday
Salary Scale: $81,496.09 to $100,728.23 per Annum
