Lounsbury Furniture in Miramichi has an opening for a Sales Consultant. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for sales, furniture & home décor and who strives to provide the best customer service.

Sales Consultants must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends. The compensation is a combination of a base salary and commission (based on sales targets).

We do provide training and you are paid a salary during the training period.

• Work the sales floor selling furniture, bedroom sets, mattresses, and appliances

• Must meet targeted sales goals

• Work with the customer service team to place customer orders

• Previous retail work experience is an asset

• Understanding of the sales cycle

• Self-motivated and driven with a fondness for excellent customer service

• Well-organized with a disciplined ability to follow through

• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products & ability to learn in-house computer programs

• High school diploma or GED required
