OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is proficient in Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe, and possesses experience working in government environments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Additionally, familiarity with Azure DevOps and bilingual proficiency (English and French) are desirable qualities for this role.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain process flows to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Serve as the Product Owner within Agile teams, creating user stories and providing detailed specifications for development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Utilize product management tools and software to facilitate project management processes.
  • Conduct testing and showcase completed work to stakeholders for feedback and validation.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is advantageous.
  • 2 years of government experience is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in business analysis.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe (minimum 1 year).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Visio).
  • Familiarity with Clarity, Remedy, and/or Azure DevOps is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in process design and change management is an asset.
  • Training experience is desirable.
  • Experience using Power BI is a plus.
