The Role:

As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a Fish Health Technician -12-Month Maternity Leave to our team of professionals. This role requires a high degree of skill in maintaining established standards of safety, quality and accuracy.

The primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Marine site visits to conduct sea lice counts and disease surveillance sampling;
  • Data recording and entry.

The successful candidate will be an effective team player with the drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet the established criteria. You recognize excellent communication skills are essential to build effective team and organizational relationships. You must be comfortable working independently in both a professional office environment and out in the field. The willingness to work flexible, irregular hours and overnight travel are requirements for this position. The ideal candidate will possess a secondary education diploma and/or related experience in fish farming and fish health. Preference will be given to candidates with an Aquaculture Technician Certificate or Diploma.
