Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play an instrumental role in mentoring other team members, promoting collaboration, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. What you will do!
- Become team champion for leveraging technology tools to enhance reporting capabilities
- Participate in the month end processes and review of the financial statements
- Perform monthly business units' P&L reviews and serve as a liaison with other stakeholders
- Act as a financial systems administrator ensuring integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting and consolidation tool
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Actively participate in internal and external audits
- Engage in ad-hoc projects as required
Who you are!
- Analyst with critical mindset and high attention to detail and ability to simplify
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills thriving in team environment
- Independent thinker capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Curious about technology and its application
- CPA designation or near completion is preferred
- University Degree or Community College Diploma, with major in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of experience in financial accounting
