Seeking: High Pressure Weler

Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. operates three manufacturing facilities in Nova Scotia and is currently seeking a High Pressure Welder to join its Bridgewater, NS team. The role of the High Pressure Welder is to be able to utilize schematics and drawings in the fabrication, installation and assembly of piping for the fluid power systems of industrial equipment.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

· Personal and Machine safety protected for all interventions

· Efficiency of all interventions (resources used, consumption of spare parts, of energy)

· A NS DOE high pressure certification is an expectation but not an initial requirement.

· Record intervention in a maintenance management system

· Proactive approach to reliability and repairs

· Continuous improvement mindset

· Cost savings initiatives

· Able to work with limited supervision

A High Pressure Welding Ticket or working toward your certification
