The Role

Cooke is undertaking a multi-year Dynamics 365 ERP implementation which will enhance our entire business infrastructure. We are seeking a Procurement Stream Lead to lead the development and implementation of D365 procurement processes throughout the organization. To ensure business results are achieved, you will work closely with stakeholders to facilitate actions, drive acceptance, and ensure plans are successfully implemented. This role is a term position that will remain in place for the duration of the multi-year program.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining the business requirements (functional/non-functional/reporting) and coordinate participation by the appropriate business resources.
  • Manage tasks to meet project deliverables for the functional stream in coordination with the Program Manager.
  • Contributes to the Change Management Plan & drives change within their stream.
  • Provide input to the training plans, material, and delivery in coordination with the Change Manager and Training Specialist.
  • Provide input to test plans and execute testing.
  • Coordinate business resources, conduct user acceptance testing, and sign-off on UAT alongside end users.
  • Contribute to the development of process documentation.
  • Contribute to the optimization of business processes.
  • Ensures that 3rd party vendor(s) configure and build to satisfy requirements.
  • Participation in the overall project planning activities.
  • Report progress in weekly status reports to Program Manager on process, requirements, training, and testing
  • Take a leading role in promoting the use of the system, its purpose, and benefits.
  • Identify and evaluate system optimizations with end users.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally as a functional lead on an ERP implementation.
  • University Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, initiative, and ability to learn.
  • Manufacturing, agriculture, aquaculture, and food processing experience considered an asset.
  • Dynamics 365 experience considered an asset.
  • Project experience considered an asset.
