The Role
We are in search of a Sales Manager. The position oversees the development of sales and customer management. This position works closely with a variety of stakeholders including sales, processing plants, warehousing facilities, accounting, IT, logistics and other various support staff.
This is a remote position. We are looking for individuals that reside in the city or region central to the crab industry.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze system data and troubleshoot day-to-day customer sales, orders and pricing
- Support our sales director with new and existing customer opportunities
- Determine and communicate new selling options to customers
- Analyze critical processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with customers and our internal production planning
- Order management while assisting logistics to ensure that product arrives to customers
Skills and experience required:
- 7+ years of experience working in a seafood company with specific focus and exposure to the crab industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
- Experience selling crab and other crustaceans
- Experience calling on/selling to larger regional chain customers retail, food service or distributors
