Atlantic Lottery is looking for energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic post-secondary school students for summer employment (Must be 19 years of age or older at the start of the work term). The work term is typically 16 weeks in length. We currently have an opportunity within our Insights and Analytics group for a Jr. BI Data Analyst summer student. As a Jr. BI Data Analyst summer student, you will have the opportunity to work on some, or all of the following:
- Provide data reporting services to various teams across the organization.
- Support the Business Intelligence Analytics Team by following BI disciplines throughout the organization as defined by management.
- Ensure that reporting and analytical standards are understood and adhered to in conjunction with the data analyst's processes.
- Identify data reporting process requests that are strong candidates for automation.
- Provide reporting expertise and training to business users.
- Strong mathematics and problem-solving skills; and a broad knowledge of analytical techniques and principles.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- The ability to communicate technical information using everyday language.
- By May 1, 2024, must be 19 years of age or older (to apply).
Education Requirements (Program of Study):
- Currently pursuing or have recently completed a post-secondary education in marketing, business, computer science, social sciences, math, or statistics.
