JOB TYPE: Casual

SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintains filing system by providing filing and retrieval services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduation or general studies (G.E.D.) plus additional courses of up to six months or equivalent such as keyboarding and records management;
  • Ability to file material in alphabetical/numerical order;
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel programs;
  • Must take the medical terminology course according to the set deadline;
  • Ability to set priorities;
  • Effective communication skills and ability to treat patients, visitors, etc. with courtesy;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
