Jill Irving is currently seeking an experienced show stable manager with international grooming experience for its facility located in Moncton, New Brunswick at their stable located at 400 Storey Road.

The position of Stable Manager is full time position over a 2-year contract and the successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours weekly/6 days a week. The language of work is English.

Job Duties:

• General care of show horses
• Supervise and schedule vet care
• Mix supplements and medications
• Pre-show packing
• Post-show unpacking
• Dressage Grooming (clipping and braiding)
• Feeding
• Laundry
• Barn cleaning
• Ordering feed, shavings, and hay
• Travel with horses throughout Eastern Canada, United States and Europe.
• All other barn duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• Education requirement - completed high school diploma
• Experienced stable manager/groomer (at least 5 years+) for international horse shows
• Experience independently managing a stable and elite show horses
• Candidates must be willing and able to travel with horses throughout Eastern Canada, the United States and Europe.
• The selected candidate must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.
• Driver's licence.

Compensation Package includes the following:

• CAD $21.67/hour, depending on experience
• Accommodations on site is included but not mandatory
• Comprehensive relocation package
