MPE a division of Englobe is recuiting for a Senior Water Resource Engineer for their Calgary office.

Your Contribution

As an Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will work in collaboration with the WATER RESOURCE TEAM to deliver a wide variety of water conveyance and other infrastructure projects.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
• The position requires a broad range of skills and experience in a wide variety of water resource projects.
• Design and project management within MPE's Water Resources team.
• Experience in project management, design, hydraulics, and construction contract administration in the following areas of practice is desired: water management, river engineering, water control structures, dam safety, flood mitigation, drainage, pipelines and irrigation conveyance.
• Experience with HECRAS, hydrology and stormwater would be considered an asset.
• Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,
• Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.

Your Profile

• Bachelors degree or Diploma from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Registration with APEGA as an Engineer (P.Eng.).
• 10 years experience in engineering including project design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for water resource related projects.
• Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software is desirable.
• Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:
