Western Health, located on the scenic west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, is seeking the services of a salaried Family Physician for Bonne Bay Health Centre (BBHC), 131 Main St, Norris Point, Newfoundland. Duties include provision of outpatient and inpatient services along with provision of after-hours/weekend on call on a regular rotation with other Family Physicians in the community.

Qualifications Required: Medical Degree, eligible for licensure as a Family Physician with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL) and satisfy credentialing requirements of Western Health's Discipline of Family Practice. Minimum two years experience in a related work would be an asset.

Hours of Work: 80 hours biweekly plus on-call obligations

Remuneration: The salary scale for a Family Physician at a Category B site ranges from $163,812-$177,333 as outlined in the current Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The Department of Health and Community Services in accordance with Provincial Guidelines will officially determine a Physician's step assignment. This position also qualifies for additional income which is generated through billings for Category B Emergency Room coverage, housing support and an annual retention bonus in accordance with the current MOA. Additional benefits are also available.
