ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST - FULL TIME -TRURO, NS

BACKGROUND:

Our Clinical Engineering division offers a technology support program to member organizations across Nova Scotia and we operate from our base offices in New Glasgow, Amherst, Bedford, Truro, Kentville, Bridgewater, Yarmouth, and Antigonish. We currently have an opening for an Electronics Technologist to join our Clinical Engineering team in our Truro office. DUTIES:

You will be involved in the delivery of technical services to a variety of health care organizations. You will have the opportunity to work with health professionals in a team-based environment, and to provide an essential service in support of the health and well-being of others. Primary duties include the maintenance, repair and support of a wide range of medical equipment used in the delivery of healthcare, such as drug infusion devices, life support systems, cardiac diagnostic systems, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must have successfully completed an Electronic or Biomedical Technology Program. Certification through TECHNOVA (or equivalent) will be viewed as an asset. Having the Certified Biomedical Electronic Technologist certification may qualify you for additional compensation. Previous experience would be considered an asset as well.

SALARY:

Salary Range: $58,583 - $70,667
