GEMTEC is a growing firm with offices throughout Atlantic Canada and in Ontario, and we are looking for a motivated and skilled Civil Designer to join our Team. We currently have an opening for a fulltime Civil Designer in our Moncton, NB office.
Responsibilities
- Surveying / Municipal field inspections.
- Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Developing and maintaining company-wide CAD templates and standards.
- Work with experienced multi-disciplined team to produce designs.
- Support field staff and contractors with project construction data and information.
- Providing quality assurance for CAD deliverables.
- Provide project quantities and cost estimates.
- Provide drafting support to all departments.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- Experience working with computer assisted drafting (CAD) and surveying.
- Experience working with Civil 3D and REVIT is considered an asset.
- Experience working in civil construction is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
