Halifax Stanfield offers Canada Customs services on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis, and it's the only airport in Atlantic Canada with U.S. preclearance and International to Domestic processing facilities. The Airport is a major economic generator, contributing $3.8 billion annually to the provincial economy pre-pandemic. In 2020, Halifax Stanfield served 995,000 passengers and processed nearly 33,000 metric tonnes of cargo.
Job Description: Paladin Security is currently recruiting for various positions within the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Positions Require:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, including working under pressure.
- Discretion when handling confidential and private information.
- Ability to pass a security clearance and hold a RAIC
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
- Flexible availability including weekends and overnight shifts, schedule of 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00
- Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma.
- Must have reliable transportation to the airport.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with min 3 years of driving experience.
- Must have valid First Aid & CPR certificate (Online First Aid/CPR certificate not accepted)

Pay Classification:
AVSEC training would be paid at $15.00
On-job training would be paid at $16.55
Pay rates once approved to full duties paid at $21.43
