8-hour day shift - Monday to Friday
Possibility of evenings shifts
Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the administrator of the grown-up program of the services of community mental health, the person holder of this position works within a multidisciplinary team and dispenses a variety of services of administrative support connected with the Mental Health, among which of the clerical tasks, reception and secretariat, to give meetings, support to the professionals, etc. The person holder of this position could be asked to work in the other establishments of the Services of Community Mental Health of the North-West Zone according to the operational needs.
N.B. These are only the main duties of the position. Other related duties may be assigned as required for the smooth operation of the sector.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High-school diploma or GED and medical secretary diploma or postsecondary secretarial course (minimum of one year) with additional medical terminology training;
- One (1) year of recent related experience;
- Good knowledge of computer tools and office automation applications and ability to use them;
- Good interpersonal skills, calm and flexible nature;
- Discretion and sense of responsibility;
- Ability to adapt and to cope with sometimes stressful situations;
- Excellent skills for serving a variety of clients;
- Description of desired position and explanation of interest in position;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethical principles, to the Network's management philosophy and to organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required..
