Electrical & Computer Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering hosts approximately 400 undergraduate students, 90 graduate students, 14 faculty members, and 8 full-time staff. The Department offers undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Software Engineering (in collaboration with the faculty of Computer Science.)

YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Department Chair, the Student Success & Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the Chair and Program Coordinators to support undergraduate student well-being and build strong relationships among future and existing students, staff, faculty, alumni, and employers.
- Advise undergraduate students in all aspects of the Department's undergraduate programs.
- Respond to student inquiries about programs, help students develop their course plans, and provide guidance on student registrations, fee payments, support services etc.
- Coordinate 1st-year student orientation activities.
- Develop undergraduate degree program course timetables.
- Generate degree audits and assess options and minor completion for graduating students.
- Assess transfer credits for incoming and transfer students.
- Communicate with various departments on campus and with other universities regarding program concerns, student concerns and courses offered in articulated programs at other institutions.
- Coordinate the development of new articulation agreements with other institutions and maintain existing ones.
- Design, develop, and implement strategies, materials, and activities that promote the Department's undergraduate programs at high schools, colleges, other universities, education fairs, etc., in coordination with the Engineering Outreach and Communications Coordinator.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and other educational institutions.
- Engage stakeholders (students, employers/industry, and faculty) in continual curriculum improvement process.
- Represent Department and liaise with Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) committees while tracking adherence with CEAB accreditation requirements.
- Aid in the collection data, analyzes, and preparation of reports related to CEAB accreditation using academic, faculty and student data.
- Brief, review, and train faculty and staff regularly on CEAB accreditation requirements.
WHAT YOU BRING
- An Undergraduate Degree.
- A minimum of 3 years' professional working experience.

- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite 365 applications.
- Experience with project management is considered an asset.
