Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Financial Services Branch as a Financial Analyst in Fredericton.
As a member of the Financial Services team, you will be responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the budget and forecast of a designated division within Service New Brunswick.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating the annual budget process and preparing the designated division's budget and forecasts
- Monitoring budget forecasts, analyzing variances, and recommending actions to maintain budgetary controls
- Maintaining up-to-date salary and benefits data for use in budget and forecast preparation and as a basis for the Human Resources Plan of Establishment
- Building relationships with the designated division to provide high client service and financial support
- Participating as member of the financial analyst team by contributing to team problem solving, information sharing, improving processes, and learning

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered, or the required years of experience may be increased.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:
- A CPA designation or equivalent or Enrollment in the program
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasional travel throughout the province may be required.
- Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
