Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Daley Seafoods in search of a full-time permanent Accounting Clerk.

Reporting to the Controller, you will be mainly responsible for Accounts Receivables. You will not only work within the Accounting team but maintain regular communication and develop relationships with the Sales department. Are you outgoing with a strong attention to the details? Responsibilities

  • Generating sales invoices and account statements
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
  • Posting invoices and paying vendors.
  • Maintain accounts payable files and records
  • Reconciliation of vendor accounts and responding to vendor inquiries
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintaining historical records
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Filing, office organization

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Proficient in Sage 50 accounting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and strong written communication skills
  • Highly professional and polite with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely manner
