ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible

HOURS OF WORK:

8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday
Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent performs the duties of a painter, such as mixing paints and colours, repairing flooring, doing caulking, removing waterproofing products, wallpapering, repairing windows, setting up scaffolding and performing various related duties as needed. The duties involve a certain element of danger when working on scaffolding or ladders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Secondary school diploma or GED;
  • Painter ticket issued under the Province of New Brunswick legislation;
  • Ability to complete the assigned tasks with or without constant supervision;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.

Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required.
