8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday
Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Organizational Development and Worker Support Services, the incumbent proceeds as follows: provides a full range of psychological services to the health care workers referred to the service; provides direct services such as assessment, diagnosis, individual or group therapy, crisis intervention, rehabilitation, prevention and promotion; employs a holistic approach and carries out various interventions facilitating health care workers' recovery and full return to work; works on an interdisciplinary team and provides supervision, training and orientation to other Vitalité Health Network workers and teams; plays an advisory role in their field of activity, namely with managers for change management and workplace wellness; in close collaboration with the various human resources teams, takes responsibility for coordinating and developing the delivery of services to prevent burnout and promote mechanisms and programs supporting mental health at work; collaborates on initiatives to develop worker support services, particularly with respect to implementing a service delivery plan.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registration under the New Brunswick College of Psychologists Act;
  • Certification in prevention and management of suicidal behaviours and in non-violent crisis intervention (CPI) or willingness to obtain it as per set time frame;
  • Master's in psychology from a recognized university;
  • Hold or obtain ASIST training as soon as possible after hire;
  • Recent program development experience, particularly in workplace health and wellness and change management;
  • Experience in project supervision and management;
  • A combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
  • Skills using computer tools;
  • Demonstrated sensitivity, empathy and respect;
  • Adaptability and flexibility;
  • Creativity and innovation;
  • Leadership and good decision-making ability;
  • Good organizational skills and ability to set priorities;
  • Sound clinical judgment and good analytical reasoning;
  • High level of professional independence;
  • Physical and emotional ability to carry out work;
  • Excellent skills facilitating groups in person and/or remotely;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to manage several files effectively;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organization values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitality Health Network.

Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required.
