Englobe is looking for a few Electrical Designers! The ideal candidates will work out of the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office (one opportunity) and Moncton/Fredericton/Saint John, New Brunswick office (one opportunity).
The candidate will be part of an electrical design team where he/she will be expected to work independently with attention to detail on projects of varying size and complexity for infrastructures in health care, municipal, commercial, defence, institutional and industrial applications, including overall project management with design and drafting of low/medium voltage power distribution, lighting, motor control, fire alarm, communications and security systems.

Your Contribution
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
  • Assist in developing, planning, organizing, and carrying the design of various electrical projects using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Preparing and verifying drawings and specifications
  • Reviewing shop drawings
  • Carry out and assist with field inspection and field data collection
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, specifications, proposals and presentations
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates
  • Assist with site Investigations and studies
  • Assist in the preparation of Building condition audits and asset management planning
  • Adhere to project budgets and objectives
  • Attend project meetings with Clients and other design team members
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines
  • Participate in internal and external project meetings
  • Carry out and assist with field inspection and field
  • Dealing with clients, contractors and suppliers in the positive promotion of the firm
  • Project management tasks as required

Your Profile
  • Electrical Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited college
  • Electrical design and drafting experience would be an asset
  • Experience in the consulting industry would be an asset
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, bilingual (French) would be an asset
  • Experience with electrical engineering tools such as AGI32 and SKM PowerTools would be an asset
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Attention to detail while multi-tasking
  • An understanding of product results
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills that will allow you to work on numerous projects concurrently, and update reoccurring tasks
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to produce well-written reports and technical specifications
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Qualifications:
