Located in Moncton, New Brunswick, the Mechanical Designer will be expected to work independently with attention to detail on projects of varying size and complexity including HVAC, fire protection and plumbing for health care, commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. The position will also involve dealing with Clients, Contractors and Suppliers in the positive promotion of the firm.

Your Contribution
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
  • Design of various mechanical projects using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Preparation and verification of drawings and specifications
  • Field data collection
  • Cost estimating
  • Investigations and studies
  • Building condition audits and asset management planning
  • Building energy modeling
  • Reviewing shop drawings
  • Contract administration and construction phase services.

Your Profile
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology or Building Services Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited college or Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • A minimum of five (3) years experience.
  • Certified Energy Analyst or Certified Energy Manager designation an asset.
  • Must be registered, or eligible for registration with APEGNB or NBSCETT.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce well-written reports and technical specifications.
