Administrative Services Level 3
The Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour is seeking an individual to join the WorkingNB Regional Office as an Administrative Assistant in Edmundston.
As a member of the WorkingNB Regional Office team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to Regional Office staff members. Duties include, but are not limited to; preparing correspondence, reports, , onboarding of new employees and other documents; preparing supply orders; data entry; mail sorting; photocopying; responding to telephone or in-person inquiries; scheduling client appointments and making reservations; maintaining inventory and records management for the regional office team. The successful candidate will also act as a liaison between the regional and provincial offices of WorkingNB.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma supplemented by completion of a one (1) year post-secondary program in the area of office management, business administration or a related field and a minimum of three (3) years related experience; OR a high school diploma supplemented by completion of at least a two (2) year post-secondary program in the area of office management, business administration or a related field, and a minimum of two (2) years related experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Experience working with e-mail, the Internet, Word and Excel is necessary.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

The following operational requirement(s) is also required: This position may require travelling within the region (Edmundston and Grand Falls offices). The candidate is responsible for providing his/her own transportation.

Salary: From $1,593 to $1,932 bi-weekly.
