Position: Unit Administrator, Purchasing Coordinator, Dome Productions, Bell Media
Location: 2164 Buckingham, Oakville (Ontario)
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week | Overtime as required

Responsibilities:

  • Manage/update Service Requests and create Purchase Orders for Engineering Maintenance, HVAC, Logistics, Fleet, Building, and Expendables
  • Create / order carnets and pull gear lists from VimBiz and additionals to create carnet list (edit lists)
  • Update Engineering tracking sheet with purchase details and accruals weekly
  • Create new suppliers and products in VimBiz, connect with vendors to obtain pricing and part numbers
  • Assist in the coding and reconciliation of Driver Purchasing Cards
  • Manually submit invoices to APSS when required (mainly fleet and building vendors)
  • Code / process invoices for Fleet, Maintenance and Building cost centres
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs and goals of organization

Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • Experience with creating and processing purchase orders is an asset
  • In depth VimBiz knowledge is an asset
  • Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt
  • Knowledge of broadcast technical equipment and component parts is an asset
  • Working knowledge of inventory control practices
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to meet timelines
  • Proactive with the ability to identify and solve problems using sound judgement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Efficient in using Word, Excel and a strong knowledge in computer operations
