Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Role
Reporting to the Manager of Business Analysis, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for being a liaison with stakeholders from various divisions, gathering and analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and processes, and testing solutions to ensure the requirements and future state processes are met. This position requires an effective communicator who has initiative, is well organized, and has leadership skills that fosters working relationships to ensure business and technology requirements align and drive business value.
Core responsibilities will include:
  • Elicit, document, validate and communicate requirements
  • Analyze and document current state workflow processes
  • Prepare and document test strategy, test scenarios and test cases
  • Analyze and document future state processes
  • Test solution and manage defects - document issues, assign for resolution and retest
  • Develop training documentation and train end users
  • Co-ordinate and orchestrate user acceptance testing and document results
  • Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
  • Liaise with stakeholders from various divisions
  • Act as a Project Manager and Business Systems Analyst on various projects
  • Work with IT Business Management team to build resource and work plans that align with business priorities.
  • Work with the Senior Architecture team to design a solution that meets the requirements
  • Work with the Technical Implementation team for the development and testing of the solution
  • Work with the Technology Support team to document the support processes required to transition the support of the solution from the working project team to the technical support team
