Programmer Consultant (Band Level 7)

DUTIES

Reporting to the HSIMS Manager of Health Education Technology and Learning & Operations, the successful applicant will work in a team environment on various development projects that will align with the outcomes of the Faculty of Medicine's Strategic Plan. Duties include: working with a team to develop mobile apps and web applications; writing and editing user support documentation; providing technical support; organizing and delivering professional presentations of developed products; training end-user; and performing other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (3-5 years) in app, web, and database development and graduation from a 4-year college or university program with major course work in Computer Science or any combination of relevant experience and training. The Programmer Consultant must possess experience with RESTful API, .NET development environment, and software development cycles. The ideal candidate will have practical programming experience using .NET in the Windows Environment, Microsoft SQL, and a demonstrated ability to use a combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create web applications with a database backend. Compliance with Memorial's Procedure for Vaccination Requirement (COVID - 19) is a condition of employment.

SALARY $47,222 to $66,220 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
