Who we are

The Department of Justice and Public Safety is dedicated to the rule of law, the promotion of the public interest, and the impartial administration of justice and works to improve the safety, security and resiliency of communities and citizens.

The Department of Justice and Public Safety wishes to establish an inventory of qualified candidates to fill casual Administrative Services Level 3 vacancies throughout various offices.

What you will do

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties that are subject to change:

  • Regular interaction with stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate files and updating records
  • Preparation of documents or related reports
  • Generating appropriate correspondence
  • Other related duties

Work environment

  • Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30 
  • We promote a scent-reduced environment.

Need to have (their essential skills and qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • One year Post-Secondary diploma in a related field;
  • At least three years of related work experience;

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Some opportunities may require written and spoken competence in English and French. Others will require written and spoken competence in English only. Please state your language capability.

Candidates must demonstrate on their applications how they have acquired the education and experience for this position. Your résumé should be in chronological order specifying education and employment in months and years including part-time and full-time employment.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following operational requirement(s) is also required:

  • The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete a Criminal record check

Wage

$ 1,472 to $ 1,785 Bi-weekly
