Port Saint John is seeking energetic, proactive, and self-driven students to join the Operations Maintenance team for the summer. The Operations Students will play an integral role in providing support to the operations and maintenance of Port facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities may include:

• General maintenance including: landscaping, lawn mowing, painting, small construction repairs, cleaning, etc.
• Assist the Operations team as needed;
• Moderate to heavy lifting and general labour.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Some related experience performing general labour;
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to take initiative to complete tasks;
• Basic understanding of safe work practices;
• Transport Canada R2 security clearance or eligible to receive;
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal direction and capable of prioritizing work as required.
