Warehouse Operator

Kelly Services has partnered with Kerry Ingredients and is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Portland, Maine!
Kerry is a dynamic, fast growing food manufacturer and is currently searching for a reliable, team-oriented Warehouse Operator. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for operating various powered equipment including a fork truck and powered pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count materials and supplies.

Shift & Compensation Details:

1st Shift - 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Monday - Friday + possible overtime - $16.00/hour

Job Duties:

Safe and efficient operation of a fork truck

Loading and unload of trucks

Ensure FIFO of all Materials and Supplies

Preparing product for shipment including preparing all required paperwork, including verifying correct product and counts

Various cleaning tasks as assigned such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and use of cleaning devices and agents to sanitize the general work environment.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a fork truck license

Work overtime and weekends when required

Lift up to 50 lbs continuously

Stand, Sit, and/or kneel for extended periods of time

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required

Forklift Experience preferred, not required

Manufacturing experience preferred, not required
