Customer Care & Reservations Agent

We are currently seeking Customer Care & Reservations Agents to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Quote fares and book flights for customers;
- Ticketing support;
- Provide customers with necessary information connected with flights;
- Communicate with customers to determine individual needs;
- Address Customer Service issues with empathy and understanding;
- Provide general information on PAL Airlines policies and procedures;
- Must make use of excellent communication and sales skills;
- When necessary, identify and implement solutions to meet evolving industry and customer needs;
- Other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary schooling in a related field Is preferred
- 1+ years of customer service experience is required
- Experience in Travel and Tourism is preferred

- Monitor the progress of Type C Flights in accordance with established procedures and regulations,
- Track Type B flights in accordance with procedures,
- Provide a listening watch on radio communications and respond to radio transmissions directed to the Operations Centre,
- Plan Type C flights in accordance with established procedures for pilot self-dispatch,
- Initiate Airport Handling and ATS coordination as required,
- Coordinate Medevac operations with all stakeholders,
- Provide Crew notifications as required,
- Advise appropriate Managers of deviations from SOPS or IRROPS,
- Activate emergency response plan if required,
- Update software, track forms, and complete reports,
- Train new Flight Followers,
- Validate log sheets,
- Assist the on-duty Flight Dispatcher when able,
- Other duties as assigned.
- Aviation experience would be asset,
- Ability to read and understand aviation weather products and aeronautical publications would be an asset,
- Restricted radio Operator's certificate would be an asset,
- Excellent time management skills,
- Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment,
- Ability to effectively prioritize work.
