Service New Brunswick is seeking individuals to join the Strategy, Planning and Solution Services Branch as Systems Development Analysts. 

As a member of the Systems Integration Services team, you will be responsible to plan, develop and maintain integration services.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing integration applications and enhancements that meet business requirements and goals, while adhering to standards and best practices and maintaining information integrity across all systems
  • Troubleshooting and analyzing issues with integration applications
  • Providing operational support for the Systems Integration Services team
  • Configuring integration environments (MS BizTalk)
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning integration environments (MS BizTalk)
  • Performing regular maintenance on integration environments (MS BizTalk)
  • Deploying and configuring integration applications using MSI packages and the BizTalk Deployment Framework
  • Updating and maintaining deployed integration applications
  • Updating and maintaining IIS configurations for WCF Services
  • Configuring and maintaining integration monitoring tools

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of three (3) years of progressive IT industry experience OR a two (2) year college diploma in a related discipline and a minimum of two (5) years of progressive IT industry experience. Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Microsoft programming languages such C#, .NET; XML and XSLT
  • MS BizTalk, SQL Server Queries, SOA and RESTful API and WCF programming 
  • Cloud based integration technologies
  • HL7 protocol

Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Some weekday evenings and weekend work hours may be required.

Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.

Salary: $49, 374- $69, 056 annually - Pay Band 4 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
