Job Description:
The selected candidates will be required to perform heavy maintenance on narrow body aircraft in Ontario, Canada.
Main Duties:
- Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems
- Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems
- Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble
- Perform and document routine maintenance
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
- Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet FAA and company standards of performance and safety
- Inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing maintenance, repair and overhaul, or modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures
- Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports.

Minimum of 40hrs per week
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to speak, read and write the English Language at a B2 level minimum.
- Must be able to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug, & medical screening, subject to TCCA requirements and random substance abuse screening.
- Must have requisite basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved.
- Must have a technical college degree in aerospace or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an MRO
