As we continue to expand, we're opening the door for a Financial Analyst in our Ottawa and Toronto locations to be a key player in the continued success and expansion of our Development Team. About You:

The CLV Group Financial Analyst is passionate about real estate and the opportunity to dive headfirst into the dynamic world of investment management across a diverse portfolio. This role is a perfect fit for a highly motivated challenge-seeker with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to learn, and who is passionate about making a meaningful, lasting impact in our community.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform company, industry and financial research and analysis
• Responsible for the preparation of management and investor reports;
• Support the due diligence process on new investments;
• Preparation of various financial proformas for new debt and equity investments;

• Responsible for special projects to improve process efficiency and operational performance;
• Maintaining ongoing income forecasting, cash flow reporting, asset management, and sensitivity analyses;
• Assisting team members in preparation of monthly and ad-hoc financial reporting packages to business partners, and
• Other related activities to support corporate and team objectives.

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience working in finance or accounting
• Post-secondary education in Commerce, with a focus in Real Estate, Finance, Consulting, Investment Banking, or a related industry
• A view of pursuing the CFA, CPA, or equivalent designation is considered an asset
• Excellent financial modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and respond to deadlines on multiple projects in a timely and professional manner
• Self-motivated, results-driven professional with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Team player, well-organized, and decisive
• Unquestionable integrity
