The Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) is a not-for-profit corporation that is designated by the provincial government of Ontario to administer and enforce the New Home Construction Licensing Act, 2017 and associated regulations. WHAT THE POSITION IS:

We are looking for a Business Services Specialist to contribute to our organization by providing corporate and business services support and analysis for functions in finance, procurement/purchasing, facilities and accommodations, asset management, logistics, records management, document production and general office administration.

The Business Services Specialist will be responsible for coordinating IT asset management, including tracking and maintaining inventory, purchasing, analyzing latest technology trends and providing recommendations for hardware standardization and upgrades and purchasing new hardware. The Specialist will also maintain and update office technology, including boardroom AV equipment, and provide administrative support to executive level personnel, management, and staff for major project initiatives and in ongoing office administration.

In this role, you will also support the development and implementation of business and operational processes and procedures, aligned to best practices, to ensure optimum processes are in place for effective coordination, control and reporting of business services activities.
