About the Role
We are searching for a highly motivated individual who embodies a passion for team empowerment to join our Canadian team as our part-time Human Resource Specialist.
Reporting to Sr. Finance and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Work closely with our managers on hiring and onboarding, providing recruiting support including job descriptions and postings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, reference checks, drafting offer letters
Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding
Assist with HR-related inquiries, including employee relations
Monitor and track of performance of employees, conduct research, analytics, and reporting, and present recommendations
Manage People Operations policies, processes, and systems
Analyses trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs to enhance employee retention and engagement
Work with our technical team to ensure our HR practices are compliant with SOC2/ISO27001 practices, and continue to develop policies and systems to ensure our continued compliance
Perform other HR related tasks might assigned
THIS IS YOU
3-7 years progressive experience in HR
Post-secondary training in HR, Business, or related field, and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development
Experience working with small and growing teams, with international employees and contractors
Demonstrated success in active recruiting for a variety of roles, including leadership positions
Experience both developing and implementing onboarding and offboarding programs
Independent, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision while setting priorities and adapting to multiple demands
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
