About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to be the first representative of our company that customers reach when they have technical concerns or inquiries. You will be responsible for educating customers, and making decisions regarding their correct next steps within our organization. Ultimately you will be responsible for monitoring our customer's success when they interact with our service team. Our customers' level of technical expertise varies – so we are always prepared to help with their questions and challenges. To succeed in the role, you need to have a passion for helping people solve problems, have excellent communication skills, and the desire to promote our additional service offerings to our customers.

So, what does your day look like as a Customer Service Advisor?

  • Inbound support ticket grading and triage
  • Monitoring the inbound Support Queue
  • Scheduling ongoing customer requests
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries
  • Maintaining & monitoring customer KPIs
  • Contacting new customers to begin service experience
  • Providing product knowledge to customers, and using that knowledge to direct customers to the correct point of contact
  • Providing feedback to Data Storage Specialists & Account Managers on customer needs
  • Identify new sales opportunities for existing customers

Above all else, we are looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative in order to help people and solve complex problems within a busy environment, where no two days are alike!

What makes you a fit for the role?

  • High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Experience providing customer service, especially over the phone, and through remote desktop, email
  • Comfortable using computers
  • Sales experience call center experience will be considered an asset
  • The ability to analyze problems and delegate accordingly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • People-driven personality
  • Attention to detail (communication & process)
  • Willingness to learn new things
  • Ability to think on your feet and take initiative
  • Experience working with technical systems considered a major asset
