Position Summary

As a member of the Technology Services team, you will play a critical role in administrating, supporting, and configuring various security platforms. Your responsibilities will include ensuring system health, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and applying a zero-trust approach to networking. We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in network administration and a deep understanding of security technologies.

As a Cyber Security Administrator your key accountabilities will involve:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available systems on Azure and AWS platforms.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Intune for device management.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and hypervisors.
• Working with virtualized environments in Azure and AWS.
• Implementing network changes to improve security and stability.
• Utilize Linux command line proficiently and employ PowerShell for advanced scripting and automation tasks.
• Lead project implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and technical requirements.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for system architectures, configurations, and processes.

As a Cyber Security Administrator your experience and qualifications will include:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a system administrator with a focus on cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure and AWS platforms, including implementation projects.
• Solid background in networking principles and hands-on management of traditional IT infrastructures.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, particularly using the command line interface.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Azure certifications are highly desired.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and help the team grow.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Adept in collaborating with teams and stakeholders at various technical levels.
